The apartment is absolutely amazing and practical. It is in a quiet street with S-Bahn, so you need a car transport links to get to see Berlin. The car, meanwhile, is in an enclosed courtyard of the house, lifted under cover very well. Across the street is a supermarket with a bakery, which has to to 24 clock, so they can get their shopping and fresh rolls effortlessly. With Dietmar one has a very friendly and helpful owner, which it also interested in whether you are feeling good in his apartment in Berlin and goes. We would book this apartment on our next visit to Berlin anytime.

Our concerns with the parts of the kitchen were groundless. The bedrooms were clean and tidy. Bus stop right in front, S-Bahn 300m away. Opportunities for daily shopping in the immediate vicinity. The S-train connections to Berlin city center was easy to reach. The car could be safely parked in the yard. We were traveling the holidays only by public transport and the car was all the time in the yard.

A great value. Grocery store across the street. U-bahn a 4-5 block walk. Not much night life nearby which was fine with us. You share the kitchen with the owner, but he’s very friendly and knowledgeable. Very pleasant, economical way to visit Berlin. This is old East Berlin, interesting in itself.
